41 Which when they hear that a dumb man may not speak, offer him to Bel, and ask of him to (be able to) speak; as if they that have no stirring, may (or be able to) feel. [Forsooth women given about, or bound, with cords sit in ways, burning bones of olives. Forsooth when any of them drawn away of any man passing hath slept, she despiseth her neighbour, for she is not had worthy as she, neither her cord is broken.]
